About Bass & Bass Antique Appraisals

Mr. and Mrs. Bass - Antique Appraisers

For more than 35 years, Robert L Bass, ASA, of Bass & Bass Ltd. has provided valuable personal property appraisal advice throughout the South Eastern United States. An appraisal prepared by a professional appraiser identifies clearly the appraisal objective, the intended use of the appraisal, and the type of value being estimated. The intended use of the appraisal is specified by the client. Robert L. Bass, Appraiser, has provided valuable appraisal information to thousands of clients throughout the southeast. Attorneys, Bank trust offices, Business professionals and Residential clients continue to rely on his dependable and consistent advice.

He has been an appraisal consultant to the State of Florida in the Department of Financial Services since 1991. In that capacity, he has been responsible for identifying and cataloging the contents of thousands of safety deposit boxes that have been abandoned around the state. The state has yearly auctions, open to the public, that sell these items, and keep the money in perpetuity for any heir that might eventually be located. Mr. Bass has had the responsibility for identifying and researching any items found in a safety deposit box that can considered valuable in any market.
